1. REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE THIS SUNDAY

Following the previous bulletin, Kate Lindo points out that the Remembrance service is this Sunday the 10th not the 19th of November. (Looks like a typo, 9 for 0.) :

2. VILLAGE HALL MANGERS

Emma Holborn writes:

Rose and John Farries, for many years have kindly volunteered to plant up and care for all of the flower mangers outside of the village hall. However,  they are no longer able to continue to do this. The village hall committee would like to thank them both for all of their hard work and dedication in creating such beautiful arrangements over the years.

So, we are now looking for volunteers to help and take over this role as it's such a lovely focal point as your first drive into the village.

The committee will provide funds for the flowers and plants. If there are any willing volunteers who'd like to continue the good work, please contact either myself  Emma Holborn (882789) or one of the other committee members - Elizabeth Robson, Jane Rollins, Tina Race, Paul and Joanne Hughes.
